I found Jason via searching for a painter, checked his reviews, and noticed someone familiar rating him.  It was all go from there.  Jason was very particular,  neat, and did a great job.  Easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

UPDATE 1/17/26: Jason is back! He was very sorry about my experience and did everything he could to make it right, including fixing Tony's mess and finishing the parts of the house we hadn't been able to paint yet. He's a stand-up guy who really cares about the quality his clients receive. He's a great painter and I would hire Jason again for other projects. -------------------------- I had originally met with Jason, the owner of Nugent Painting. An emergency came up and he turned my project over to his "buddy" Anthony Secore. Absolutely avoid Tony for any painting work. What was supposed to be a two-week job turned into a month-long ordeal because of his poor project and time management. He consistently failed to protect floors and fixtures, left cleanup incomplete, used materials unfit for residential interior painting, and cut corners to make up for his deficiencies. Tony showed a complete lack of professionalism and basic competence with painting. Surface preparation was neglected, including skipping sanding, primer, and proper taping. He claimed his quote only included one coat of paint and was demanding more money for more coats of paint. Most notably, when I tried to gently clean the walls with a soft washcloth, the paint came right off. If you need painting, wait until Jason returns to his business—avoid Tony at all costs.

Jason did a marvelous job painting my outbuilding, a two-story garage and a half. After he got into the job, he found rot had gotten behind the trim pieces around the overhead door. This had been simply covered up by the last painter - the rot was too extensive for it to be recent. He was able to completely fix the problem, though, making it better than new, then complete the painting. It added two days onto his job time but he saw it through. Very professional and the paint job looks GREAT!! We have another job lined up for him in the near future.

Very detailed oriented and conscientious about making sure the job is not just done, but done right and to expectations. I had a deadline that I was nervous to meet for an event being hosted at my farm. He stood true to his word that he would meet the deadline or he would knock a significant amount off the bill. He was able to meet the deadline and went above and beyond to fix a couple other items on my list of to-do's. It was a huge undertaking and it took a few weeks to complete, but the job was done exceptionally well. Highly recommend!

Competitive pricing and tremendous attention to detail which resulted in a flawless painting of the outdoor of my house. We highly recommend Jason for his skill and professionalism. Communication was excellent regarding receiving an estimate, selecting the paint, scheduling, making last-minute changes and the painting itself. He kept us posted as to his arrival time every day and actually showed up... another rare occurrence these days! The project took longer than expected however Jason didn't rush his way through and kept working that Friday evening in order to finish the job to our satisfaction.
